There are four status modes for connected device.

 The device is connected and ready.

The device is connected but PostSort has not received the go-ahead.

The device has reported errors.

Device not connected or booted

Displays status and messages reported from connected device.

Edit or create layout.

The feature may have limited access  depending on settings in the application.

The connected device settings.

Acknowledge a reported error from connected device (Status has turned red).
